Smoother laundry routines at Rapp Fastigheter

Shared laundry rooms are a familiar part of everyday life for many tenants. They are high-use spaces with clearly defined time slots, where every booking needs to run smoothly. In an environment where many people share the same resources, it is essential that both washing and drying work efficiently, every time.

Rapp Fastigheter, which owns and manages approximately 123,000 square metres of property in Skövde, has been in operation since 1961 and today has 20 employees. In the Rödfyran neighbourhood, caretaker Vitalijus Vanagas meets tenants’ needs and expectations every day when it comes to how well the laundry rooms function.

High use places clear demands on equipment

The area has four laundry rooms, equipped with both drying rooms and drying cabinets. They are used frequently and are often fully booked, with three scheduled laundry slots per day. This means that each slot needs to be efficient, with little room for delays or poor drying results.

“Each laundry slot needs to work efficiently, and the laundry has to be ready within the booked time. For tenants, it is about making everyday life work. That makes it important that they can trust both washing and drying to perform as expected during the time they have booked,” says Vitalijus.

When the laundry room affects the whole living experience

When many people share the same space and equipment, predictability becomes a central part of the experience. Having laundry ready within the allocated time is not only a practical matter; it is also an important part of tenants’ everyday lives. The alternative — taking wet laundry back home — is impractical and far from a solution that works for everyone.

This is why the performance of the laundry room plays a larger role than may be visible at first glance. It becomes part of the overall living experience, where smooth processes and reliable results contribute to comfort and easier everyday routines.

A solution that needs to be simple and reliable

In a shared environment, where equipment is used continuously by many different people, the requirements are clear. The equipment needs to be easy to use, deliver the expected results and provide confidence that everything will work, even when time is limited.

A decisive part of a functioning whole

In summary, drying cabinets are a central part of ensuring the full process works as intended. In a high-use laundry room with clearly defined time slots, reliable and easy-to-use solutions are essential to ensuring that every laundry slot can be completed as planned.
